Paige Banfield BSc (hons) Nursing (children's)
Area Manager / Paediatric Nurse
I have worked for Merry Poppets for several years. Whilst completing my level three in childcare I progressed through the nursery from afterschool helper to Baby Room Leader.
Following this, I attended Bucks New University where I studied Children’s Nursing. After three successful years, I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Children’s Nursing. I then spent a year travelling the world, gaining valuable experiences and exposure to a wide range of cultures.
On returning, I held nursing positions for a combined total of seven years at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and within the Children’s Palliative Care Unit at Keech Hospice.
In 2020, I returned to Merry Poppets as an Area Manager, while continuing to work part-time as a paediatric nurse. More recently, I completed a Level 3 Award in Education and Training, which enabled me to become a licensed instructor in Basic Life Support and First Aid. In this role, I now deliver training and ensure the Merry Poppets team remains up to date in Paediatric First Aid.
Alongside my professional achievements, I have recently become a mother to my beautiful daughter, a bundle of fun who brings both the joys and challenges of motherhood.
